He was born in Chongqing in 1955 and graduated from Print Department, Sichuan Fine Art Academy in 1982. After that he continued to study and graduated from free art department, Universitaet Gesamthochschule Kassel and living in chengdu now.
He melts the expressionism and Chinese traditional art together. The colors and shapes by him serve for artists to express the emotion. No matter what he draws, they can show a kind of artistic conception. Their skills to draw is so good make watchers in it, which tells us that the traditional art play an important role in the modern art. And this is the harvest accepted by artistic circle from early 1980s.
