PIFO Gallery is proud to present the first exhibition in China of Liliane Tomasko - Liliane Tomasko： Feeling Folding. She has exhibited widely in US and European museums and galleries and her work is to be found in public collections across the West， from IVAM in Valencia Spain to the Kunstmuseum in Bern to Try-me in Virginia， USA. This exhibition will provide a historical survey of Liliane Tomasko‘s painting between 1999 and 2016 as well as three photographic works and one sculpture created exclusively for the venue. As the curator Jiang Yuehong says， “Enigmatic paper bags， sigh-provoking folds and dreamlike shadows， traces that turn and disappear， colors that shimmer and interlace with rhythm， moods that permeate the lines and shapes - this is the work of Liliane Tomasko. Be it her choice of theme or her wielding of visual grammar， she never fails to display her unique perspective and delicate inner experience as a woman artist making dreams out of domestic objects.”

偏锋新艺术空间将呈现莉莉安·托马斯科在中国的首次个展《莉莉安·托马斯科：素昧》。她的作品在美国，欧洲等地的美术馆及画廊广泛展出，并被西班牙IVAM-巴伦西亚现代艺术研究所、伯尔尼美术馆、美国弗吉尼亚Try-Me等机构收藏。此次展览将梳理其创作于1999至2016年的绘画作品，同时呈现三件摄影作品和一件专为此次展览再次创作完成的空间作品。 正如策展人蒋岳红所言： “艺术家无论是作品主题选取，如让人揣摩的纸袋、令人唏嘘的褶子和使人遐思的影子， 还是视觉语言逻辑的运用， 如转折勾勒出的显隐，色彩交错间的律动和笔触游走中的穿插，都尽显着她身为女性艺术家在平日家居的睹物神往中，独到的观察视角和微妙的内心体验。”
