“棕色(II)”
形式:
1. 脊柱骨向画面的对角线两端各自延伸开来最终消失为一点。
2. 这件作品构图符合传统构图样式的“均衡”,但最后的效果却带给观众一种不稳定的情绪。
内容:
1. 艺术家自身跟生理(动物性)的一种对抗及对抗所带来的潜能。
2. 延续艺术家个人对本体生物性能量的持续探索。
3. 联想到有关疾病(材料带来的保暖性感官)。
“棕色(I)”
形式:
1.互为反向连接的两枚下颌骨跟背景的皮毛纹路是一体化相搭配的。
2.有关色调,作品名称:“棕色”,在艺术家的个人观点中,暖色是一切“能量”的“驱动力”和象征。这也是作品中很少出现冷色调的原因之一。
内容:
1.人类的文明史就是一部交流沟通的历史,都是通过这个关节实现的。
2.更像是一部历史剧的浓缩影像,皮毛的后置布景,前景的表演性等。这个构图给人以下坠,落幕的感觉。
3.延续艺术家个人对本体生物性能量的持续探索(皮毛的保暖效果及人体关节)。
"友善的人"
形式:
整体的暖红色调给人以温暖,暧昧之感。
内容:
1. 男人站在高处的豪华温床上手握不名状的发光体(发光体象征光明,璀璨与华美)对着床上一个莫名的骤然凹陷洞口。这种物质隐喻更多的可以联想到有关女性与性。
2. 巨大面积的跟床体洞口下端相连,似乎具备生物特性的物体更让人感知其神秘性,它可以是一切也可以什么都不带 代表。更像是有关“欲望”的无限延伸。
3. 取名“友善的人”是为达到“反讽”效果,“友善”更多的时候变成“伪善”,尤其是在当下这个时代环境,男女关系变得直接,透明且更加的本质化了。
“弧形”
形式:
画面华丽,奇伟。构图不拘泥一种样式。
内容:
1. 能量”主题的多元扩展作品之一,“政治能量”的驱动力是巨大的,所有其所能触及的领域所发生的瑰怪景观都是拜此所赐,它的庞大统治力使一切变得“合理”。
2. 政治与犯罪本是一回事情---- “金融是枪,政治就是抠动扳机的时候”。
“无神论者”
形式:
锥形内框有“反透视”的意味,但正观作品却是合理严谨的透视关系。
内容:
画面右面的构图组成部分说不清是镜子还是油画,正如作品名称没有任何结论的倾向性一样。艺术家在努力寻找一种 “形而上”的可能性。
“潜能 II”& “潜能 I”
形式:
消失到一点就是“透视”吗?当然作品一定是严格遵循透视原理的,不会有任何“超现实”的成分出现。画面很合理,却使人感到“透视非透视”,有时更像是为“画面构成”服务,有时却什么都不是,作品就是这样在边缘和游离处客观的合理存在,艺术家对既定样式的排斥以及对创造性的重视显露无疑。
内容:
“能量”主题的多元扩展作品之一,这两件作品倾向对中国古老的少林气功内劲“一指禅”的迷恋和崇敬。这种将有限的生物局限性发挥到极端的技艺令人感到神秘和不可思议,它突破了生物局限性的障碍,使人体经验充满了潜力和可能性。画面的一切形式因素都在为此服务。
“无题”
形式:
1. 成品油画框与成品国画框以交互的方式组成数学中的“无限”符号。
2. 灰色背景使作品气质显得很沉稳和冷静。
内容:
1. “能量”主题的多元扩展作品之一,作品充满了运动感和流动性,这种趋于静态的心理暗示让人感受到来自作品中"文化能量"的驱动。
2. 讨论中西方绘画样式问题,以及在一个大的文化场域中对中西方进行的比较。这种比较消除了中西文化及意识形态的偏见,并使构建一个无差异的整体文化意识观成为可能。
“室内”
形式:
1.华丽。严格秩序性。几何抽象物与具象体合理共存。
2.画面空间(前后空间与左右空间)的无限延展性。平面感与空间感共存。四个角各不相同。
内容:
1.作品中出现的物象都是经过精心筛选,安排,组织,以期能够以足够的力量激发观众对物象之间存在的潜意识联系的关注与思考。
2.暗示“政治诱惑与伤害并存”这个恶性循环。
“室内Ⅱ”
形式:
1.华丽。严格秩序性。几何抽象物与具象体合理共存。
2.画面空间(前后空间与左右空间)的无限延展性。平面感与空间感共存。四个角各不相同。
内容:
1.逻辑性与非逻辑非理性共同存在(心理层面)。
2.有批判“卡通”的意味,但论调又没有那么鲜明直白,同时带有个人主观色彩和处理方式。一个矛盾的综合体。
3. 旨在提示对本土文明的重视。
中国熊猫
形式:
1.视觉延展性及心理延展性(作品意义的涉猎面及在此基础上的延展范围)。
2.平面感与空间感共存。撞色构成。强烈秩序感。
内容:
1.作品中出现的物象都是经过精心筛选,安排,组织,以期能够以足够的力量激发观众对物象之间存在的潜意识联系的关注与思考。
2.“现实非现实”。
3.对新闻事件的一些敏感想象。赠送大熊猫这种中国特有的“政治动物”作为一种外交手段被频繁的用于国家及地区间的交际,其中多数熊猫因环境及人为原因导致死亡。这种忽略并脱离其特有生物环境属性的做法本身就很“超现实”。 可以联想到更多具备“中国特色”的社会事件。
后记
一个艺术家长期积累的知识、经验、谋划、方略、力量、思想和意志可以用一个词来概括,就是能量。一个人就是一 个能量,一个能量场。人所有的行为都在这场内展开。 我不认同作品隶属于任何类别,风格或流派。我只是走在实验的路上寻求一切的可能性。
“Brown (II)”
Form:
1. Spinal bones stretch to two diagonal paths through the image to their final disappearance.
2. The composition of the works conforms to the symmetrical composition tradition, but the final visual effect brings about an unstable mood of the audience.
Content:
1. The artist’s confrontation with the physical (animal nature) as well as the consequent potentialities caused by the confrontation.
2. An extension of the artist’s persistent exploration of self-biological energy.
3. Associated with related diseases (warm feeling brought by the materials).
“Brown (I)”
Form:
1. The two reverse-connected jawbones go together with the lines of the fur in the background.
2. For colors, Title: "brown", in the artist's personal point of view, warm colors are the "driving force"
and symbol of all "energy". It is the reason why cool colors are rare in the works.
Content:
1. The history of civilization is the history of communication, which is realized by this joint.
2. This is more like an epitome of chronicled play with the fur background and the performance in the foreground, which causes a feeling of falling and end-rolling.
3.The persistent self-exploration of the biological energy (the warming fur and human joints)
"Amicable Person"
Form: An overall warm red tone fosters loving and ambiguous feelings.
Content:
1. The man stands on a deluxe king bed with a bright luminous object in undefined shape in hand(bright and gorgeous) against a hollow hole in the bed, which could be deemed as a metaphor about women and sex.
2. The large-sized object connected with the bottom of the hole, which appears to be with biological nature, is as mysterious as an indication of everything or nothing. It also looks like an unlimited extension of "Desire".
3. "Friendly person" is a name used to show irony, because human sincerity often turns into insincerity. Especially nowadays, the relations between men and women become balder, more snobbish and direct to his or her own interest.
"Arch"
Form:
1. The image is gorgeous and beautiful and the composition of the picture free in style.
Content:
1. "Political energy", an extensional work of the "Energy" series, boasts enormous driving force. Its overwhelming dominance power makes everything “reasonable” and influences every field as long as it can reach.
2. Politics and crime are the same thing ----" Finance is the gun and politics is the right time to pull the trigger. "
"Atheist"
Form:
1. The awl-shaped inner frame reflects an "anti-perspective" view but a front view of the work only
leads to a reasonable and precise perspective relationship.
Content:
1. it’s hard to tell whether the right part of the picture is a mirror or a painting. Giving no conclusion to the art in the name, the artist tries to find a "metaphysical" possibility.
" Potential II "&" Potential I”
Form:
1. Does fading to one point means "perspective"? For sure the work must strictly follow the principle of perspective, with no exception of any kind of "surreal" elements. A normal picture, however, makes people feel "both perspective and non-perspective". The work severs its connection with the collective but still stroll idly on the edge, serving the "constitution" or serving nothing. It depicts the artist’s aversion for cliché and focus on creativity.
Content:
One of the “Energy” series expansions, the two works show the respect as well as infatuation for the "one-finger meditation" of the ancient breathing exercises from Shaolin Temple. The amazing power of getting the edge breaks through biological limitations and shows great potentiality and possibility. All the factors in the picture exist for severing this idea.
"Untitled"
Form:
1. The frames of canvas and Chinese Brush Painting interact to form the infinity symbol in mathematics.
2. The gray background makes the works quite profound and calming.
Content:
1. The work, one of the "energy"-themed extensions, contains strong momentum and flexibility. Like a suggestion, it makes people feel the drive from the “cultural strength” of the work.
2. The Discussion between Chinese and Western painting genres and the cultural comparison between the East and the West eliminate the cultural and ideological bias and make building of a undifferentiated overall cultural mentality as possible.
“Indoor”
Form:
1. Magnificence. Strict sequence. The coexistence of geometry abstraction and concrete.
2. The infinite spatial extension (front and back, left and right) of the picture. The coexistence of cubic effect and plane view. The four corners are all different.
Content:
1. The factors in my works are carefully chosen, arranged and organized to inspire the spectators’
consideration of the subconscious relationships between the factors.
2. To imply the vicious cycle of “the coexistence of political temptation and harm”.
IndoorⅡ
Form:
1. Magnificence. Strict sequence. The coexistence of geometry abstraction and concrete.
2. The infinite spatial extension (front and back, left and right) of the picture. The coexistence of cubiceffect and plane view. The four corners are all different.
Content:
1. The coexistence of logicality and illogicality (psychologically)
2. An implication of criticizing the “Cartoon”, through a rather veiled way, and with a subjective view and personal manner. A complicated combination.
3. The aim is to attach importance to the local culture.
Chinese Panda
Form:
1. The visual extension and psychological extension (the art carries rich meaning)
2. The coexistence of cubic effect and plane view. The contrasting colors and obvious order.
Content:
1. The factors in my works are carefully chosen, arranged and organized to inspire the spectators’consideration of the subconscious relationships between the factors.
2. “The reality is not real”.
3. Some sensitive imaginations inspired by the news. Pandas, a “political animal” unique in China, are
frequently used in diplomacy between China and other countries and areas. The majority die from
environmental or anthropogenic factors. The fact of ignoring Panda’s living circumstances is more
“surreal”. Some other social events with typical “Chinese characteristics” could be associated with this.
Postscript
An artist’s long-term accumulation of knowledge, experiences, plans, strategies, strength, thoughtsand will can be summed up in such one word -- energy. A person is similar to an energy field, in which all behavior of the person will be done.
I don’t want my works to be identified as any certain genre. All I want to do is to find every possibility on my way of exploration.
