Keumsan Gallery has been operated since 1992, as the entity to perform the role of communicating with influential art markets in Korea. Also the gallery has entitled as the main figure to develop the relationship among artists, galleries, and collectors not only in Korea but also across the Asian countries. Keumsan Gallery sets out from Sogyeokdong, Jongno, South Korea and has worked introducing prominent artists from Korea, China, Japan and India to the international art world. Especially, the gallery has put the effort on discovering young talented artists and promoting them. Moreover, the gallery placed in Heyri, the cozy art village, keeps carrying on the purpose introducing authoritative exhibitions as well as it is the landmark in the complex. In 2008, the history of gallery opening at Beijing and Tokyo, shows international efforts of the gallery to lead Asian art markets. Also, since November, 2010, as opening the branch at Seoul, the gallery is able to take in more broadened tasks such as art marketing and art consulting by the professional communication with the main components of the Asian art world. Keumsan Gallery participates art fairs across all over the world to promote the works of east Asian artists. Since 2005, the ongoing participation on international art fair presents animated activity of the gallery regarding marketing and promoting works of art as well as communicating with international galleries, collectors and artists.

Works by most notable artists in the Korean and international fine art scene like Nam June Paik, Tschang-Yeul Kim, Ufan Lee, Yue Min Jun, Zeng FanZhi,Ji Dachun, Hoon Kwak, Sufan Oh, Frank Stella, David Nash, Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist, Rufino Tamayo and by artists with great potential such as Lee Yong Deok, Park Sung-Tae, Shin Chi-Hyun, Cha Min-Young, Tamen, Li Hui have graced our walls.
The start of Auctionarts inc, internet auction company, in 1997 allowed PYO Gallery to gain resources to become the first creator of cyber museums in Korea for major Korean and Chinese artists. With growing resources, PYO Gallery has placed intense effort in promoting Asian art worldwide and such efforts allowed the gallery great international recognition, increasing international artist line and collector base. In addition to curating exclusive monthly exhibitions, the PYO gallery, with over 1,300 artworks in stock, annually curates and exports fine art traveling exhibitions for other major museums and galleries worldwide. As the international expectations grew, it became necessary for our gallery to open an art consulting office in Los Angeles in 2003 and the 3rd exhibition space in China in 2006. In March of 2006, PYO BEIJING was launched in a new art district, Chaoyang Liquor Factory in Beijing, allowing PYO Gallery to promote Asian art more affectively.
In September of 2006, to comply with the ever-growing art investment interest in Korea, PYO Gallery and GOOD MORNING SHINHAN SECURITIES successfully launched the very first art fund in Korea with 7.5 million dollar asset.
In 2007, acknowledging the space limitation of the 20 year old building space, PYO gallery has moved its location to a new sophisticated cultural zone in Namsan, sharing the area with the National Museum of Korea and the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art.
PYO Gallery is proud to bring a new exciting energy to the area and the gallery believes that the new location will allow developing its exhibition program at an even more thrilling pace locally and internationally.

Beijing Commune was founded in 2004. It's a professional art gallery which attends to exhibit and promote Chinese contemporary art. It is an active space where various works of both established and emerging Chinese contemporary artists are exhibited, including painting, drawing, sculpture, video and photography, etc. It focuses on discovering and promoting the new power, introducing the special value of Chinese contemporary art to the international arena, and creating new ideas of exhibiting and marketing. The gallery also organizes academic conferences as well as publishing books on Chinese contemporary art. Since its founding, Beijing Commune has held a series of programs that have received extensive attentions from the international art scene. "Sublimation: A New Art Project by Zhang Dali" (2005), one of the gallery's initial exhibitions, was later selected to attend the 6th Gwangju Biennale. In 2009, Song Dong, artist presented by Beijing Commune, had his solo project at MoMA, New York. In February 2010, Yin Xiuzhen，with her Collective Subconsious which was first shown at Beijing Commune in 2007, became the second Chinese artist invited by MoMA's "Projects" to have solo show. And Liu Jianhua, with his Container series which had their debut at Beijing Commune in 2009, participated in the 17th Biennale of Sydney in 2010.
