南方，1976年生于河北省邯郸市。
1999年毕业于河北师范大学美术系并留校任教。[2006年获硕士学位。]
现任职河北师范大学美术学院油画系，河北省美术家协会油画艺委会副秘书长，西安美术学院油画系客座讲师。
