首先祝贺参展诸位你们的学生生涯终于熬到头了,从此海阔天空任鸟飞,衷心祝愿诸位在艺术上飞得高远。
回想两年前，在蓝色空间画廊仍然是这批研究生的展览中，我曾写过有关绘画处境黯淡的文字，赞扬这些绘画爱好者们能在近乎无望中为自己的热爱而坚持的可贵状态，不想那情景竟是“黎明前的黑暗”，仅一年后便语境巨变，市场这支无形的力量突然令绘画艺术炙手可热了起来。
再看看今天这些学生，他们令人可喜地画作长进了，画价涨进了，他们的努力与热爱在突然来临的时运面前有了价值感。虽然，其中有些人的艺术状况仍然处在“黎明前的黑暗”中，但是据说：假如生活让你付出许多，是因为它预备给予你的更多。谨以此句作为勉励吧。

Congratulations to all of the exhibitors at first that you have finished you school work finally. Then may you fly up into the expansive sky in an outburst of delight.
There was an exhibition for the same artists in Blue Dreamland Gallery two years ago. For that one I wrote some words about the gray situation of drawing and praised their attitude to insist on it in such a hopeless environment. But which is out of our expectation is that it is the darkness before the dawn. It has changed completely only after one year. And the market makes the drawing circle in favor with its power.
For these students, they not only draw better, but also their works are more expensive. Their efforts and passion become worthy in front of the coming opportunities from the new age. Although some of them are still in the darkness before the dawn, the old story that if you have to pay a lot, life will give you more in return can encourage you to go on.
