《千里江山图》是北宋著名画家王希孟的作品，全卷为青绿山水画设色。在该作品中，远山近水，气势开阔；屋舍集市，泛艇客舟……无不笔墨工致、位置相宜，充分表现了祖国山河的无比秀丽之美。艺术家袁晓舫的观念影像作品正是在王希孟《千里江山图》的基础上，智慧地将一幅本来是描绘自然山水的作品，转变为描绘房地产无所不在的作品。这既含蓄地批判了当下出现的造房运动，也强调了“天人合一”的重要性。

“The Magnificent Landscape of My Country” is a piece made by the painter Wang Ximeng, in the North Song Dynasty, complete scenery in which everything, the mountains, rivers, brooks houses and so on is in proper location. Yuan Xiaofang revises the picture by using a big number of high-rising buildings to replace all those of the natural. Sure it is a mockery to China’s house building movement as well as a stressing on the old Chinese living philosophy: man and all the nature in one.
