有象无形——阎洪子明作品展
阎洪子明，河南艺术家。对中国传统艺术的研习，对儒释道文化的研究，都在他的这批抽象艺术作品里体现。
阎洪子明这些年开始了布面丙烯综合材料创作，他成功地凿通了东方传统和西方图式学之间的边界。他的作品所传递的是一种东方精神和西方文化相交叠之后的视觉新体验。
如以《诗经》的“赋”、“比”、“兴”作比，阎洪子明玩的便是“兴”，亦有些类似禅宗公案中“机”，“使人思而得之”，且不按牌理出牌。他自小便酷爱中国传统文化，画意很中国，一如蛋白质，低调、安静。其画，不明就算了，猜了也许更糊涂，若能便是享受艺术一次。
大象无形兮，我独立；大音希声兮，我独泣；茫茫人海兮，无知己。读经诵曲，赏海棠蕙兰而心旷神怡，听玄音丝竹乃自在欣喜，闻百花之芬芳。览古今之博学。道无穷而苦学，拜苍天以谢兮。—

--- Exhibit of Yan,Hongziming
Yan,Hongziming, an artist from Henan province. His study and practice of the traditional Chinese arts, and his understanding of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism will be shown in these abstract works of art.
Great works of arts is without definite form, and I stand alone.
Great music is almost soundless, and I sob secretly.
Reading classics, chanting poems, appreciating Chinese flowing crabapple and orchid, enjoying music, I feel carefree and joyous.
Smelling the fragrance of the flowers, indulging in various knowledge, studying the infinite arts, I can not thank Heaven enough!
The great sound seems soundless. The great image seems formless. I perceive all this forlornly and alone. Reading the ancient classics and chanting prayers, enjoying blossoms in bloom and music in play. Learning knowledge from immemorial. I play tribute to heaven for all the grace.
