......与那些敢于直面青春的残酷的艺术家不同，王荣植的艺术另辟蹊径，他采取的是一条梦幻逃逸的路向，他的绘画与猫同行，青春在乔装与打扮中与梦同行：就像阳光下花园中的白日梦，既不残酷，也不情色，更不反叛。也许因为自得其乐的惬意和贵阳忧郁的雨天，偶尔还有些美好。……

......阴性、敏锐、胡思乱想、孤独、懒散、喜欢一些稀里糊涂的东西，常发呆，偶有幻觉，胡言乱语，我把有这些特征或习性的人称为潮湿的人。这类人，适合搞搞艺术，我把王荣植归为这类人。潮湿的人更注重直觉，总和现实世界有一定的距离，离我们的身体和心灵却更近一些。……
